AJ Allmendinger Wins Stage 2 at Daytona

It’s been all Kaulig Racing so far in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Circle K Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

Ross Chastain took Stage 1 in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing car, and AJ Allmendinger followed suit by winning Stage 2 in Kaulig’s No. 10 ride.

Allmendinger held off season-opening race winner Michael Annett for the Stage win, while his Kaulig Racing teammates — Chastain and Justin Haley — finished third and fourth in Stage 2.

Justin Allgaier rounded out the top-five finishers.

Christopher Bell, Noah Gragson, Cole Custer — who rebounded from slapping the wall in Stage 1, Riley Herbst and Austin Cindric also scored Stage points in Stage 2.

John Hunter Nemechek has rebounded from his Stage 1 spin through the grass and was 12th at the end of Stage 2.
