Video: With Win All But Locked Up, Kyle Larson Cuts Tire in Final Turn to Hand Win to Alex Bowman

WOW!

Kyle Larson was a turn and straightaway away from becoming the ninth NASCAR Cup Series driver in the modern era to win four-consecutive races, but heading into the final turn of Saturday’s Pocono Organics CBD 325 at Pocono Raceway, a tire came apart, and sent him into the wall.

As Larson slammed into the wall, his teammate Alex Bowman scooted by to score his third win of the 2021 season.

Here’s another look at things:

Larson finished ninth, but to add insult to injury, he’ll have to start at the back of Sunday’s race, as he’ll go to a backup car.
