We are back under the red flag in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Verizon 200 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course, as Michael McDowell caught the sausage curb that was remaining in turn 6.
The rest of the curbing that surrounded the sausage curb had been removed after it broke apart causing a big crash with five laps left.
After McDowell flew through the air, he collected Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick, Cole Custer, Martin Truex Jr. and others.
