Video: Matt Crafton, Stewart Friesen and Others Involved in Multi-Truck Accident to Start Stage Three

Defending race winner Matt Crafton probably not be going back-to-back at Michigan, after being involved in a multi-truck melay on lap 51.

The accident began when Stewart Friesen and Christian Eckes made contact, sending the Halmar Friesen Racing Toyota Tundra into the outside wall hard, while collecting Matt Crafton, as well as Niece Motorsports teammates Ty Majeski and Ryan Truex.

Radio communications from Stewart Friesen indicate the possibility of fluid being on the racetrack at the time of the restart.

“Why the [expletive] did they go green with [expletive] leaking all over the racetrack. This is unbelieveable, this series,” said Stewart Friesen on the No. 52 radio.

Stewart Friesen would be out of the event, finishing 39th-place, while Matt Crafton, Ty Majeski and Ryan Truex were able to make repairs to their respective trucks and continue racing.
