Video: Kasey Kahne Lays Down Fastest Qualifying Lap in World of Outlaws Event at Lake Ozarks Speedway

Kahne has battled back from those injuries and has begun competing in World of Outlaws competition again in 2020.

On Friday, Kahne flashed the talent that took him to the top of the NASCAR ladder when he laid down the fastest lap in qualifying for the WoO event at Lake Ozarks Speedway in Missouri.

Kahne’s lap was a quick 11.647 second circuit and it got the commentators on DirtVision pumped:

Kahne out-qualified a who’s-who list in World of Outlaws racing, as notable names behind him in qualifying were: David Gravel (4th), Shane Stewart (8th), Brad Sweet (9th), Donny Schatz (15th), Kyle Larson (23rd) and Rico Abreu (31st).

After turning the fast lap, Kahne spoke before the night’s heat races. He hopes to be able to parlay his track position into a good night.
