Video: Jeffrey Earnhardt’s Bad Day Continues, Hitting Turn One Wall After Contact from Riley Herbst

Image: JD Motorsports Video / Twitter

Jeffrey Earnhardt’s day has gone from bad to worse Sunday at Dover International Speedway, as contact from Joe Gibbs Racing rookie Riley Herbst sent Earnhardt’s No. 0 into the turn one wall in stage two.

This is Earnhardt’s second incident of the race, the first of which ended the day of Vinnie Miller and the No. 78.

Earnhardt would still be able to stay on the lead lap, but the team would have to return to pit road in order to asses any potential damage to Earnhardt’s Drydene Chevrolet Camaro.
