Video: Chase Briscoe Spins From the Lead While Battling Ty Gibbs For the Lead at Charlotte

It looked like Chase Briscoe had a legitimate chance to score the first-ever NASCAR Xfinity Series win for BJ McLeod Motorsports, as he was in the lead in Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with less than 20 laps to go. However, while attempting to hold off Ty Gibbs for the win, air from the front of Gibbs’ car sent Briscoe for a ride.

Briscoe luckily avoided junking the No. 99 car, but his hopes of a win are all but done.
