Video: Playoff Contender Tyler Ankrum Out Early at Kansas After Big Crash

Saturday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Clean Harbors 200 at Kansas Speedway came to a screeching halt for Playoff contender Tyler Ankrum on lap 39, when he was swept up in a massive pileup.

Trevor Bayne, Brett Moffitt and Raphael Lessard were running three wide. Lessard made contact with Moffit, and Ankrum had nowhere to go. After slamming into the wall hard, Ankrum’s truck erupted into flames. He was able to walk away uninjured, but his day is done.

In addition to Ankrum and Lessard, the incident also involved Parker Kligerman, Tanner Gray, David Gravel, Ben Rhodes, Dawson Cram, Hailie Deegan, Clay Greenfield and Colin Garrett.
