Video: Grant Enfinger Swept up in Crash After Strong Opening Half of Truck Race

Grant Enfinger finished second in Stage 1 and won Stage 2, but if he is going to go on to win the Camping World 225 at Chicagoland Speedway, the driver of the No. 98 Thorsport Racing truck is going to have to rebound from a bit of adversity.

On lap 80, Spencer Davis — who was making his second Truck Series start of the season — crashed his No. 44 Niece Motorsports truck into Enfinger and then back down the track into Austin Wayne Self.

Enfinger would spend the caution period repairing damage and will restart the race in 17th-position. Davis and Self aren’t as fortunate as they are done for the night.

Self had been running solidly in the top-10 up until Matt Crafton made contact with him in the middle portion of Stage 2.
