Kyle Busch has had one of the best trucks in the TruNorth Global 250 at Martinsville Speedway, but he was shuffled out of the lead due to pit strategy late in Stage 2 of the race.

Ross Chastain — driving the No. 45 Truck for Niece Motorsports — was able to muscle his way past Stewart Friesen with nine laps remaining in the Stage. Chastain would cruise to the Stage win — the first of his career in the Truck Series. In doing so, it snaps an impressive streak that Busch had going in the series. Prior to Stage 2 of Saturday’s race, Busch had won seven-consecutive stages in the Truck Series.

In Atlanta and Las Vegas, Busch swept Stages 1 and 2 and went on to win the overall race in Stage 3. Saturday, Busch won Stage 1 at Martinsville before falling short in Stage 2.
