Following Wednesday’s court date where the criminal charges levied against Truck Series driver Tyler Dippel for possession of a controlled substance were dropped, NASCAR has dropped the suspension of the 19-year old rookie driver.

The news has also landed officially on NASCAR.com.
Dippel, who missed last Sunday’s Truck Series event at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, will be eligible to compete again effective immediately.
Dippel was 13th in the championship standings before being suspended this past week. His best finish of the season was a third-place effort which came at Michigan International Speedway a few weeks ago.
