Johnny Sauter to Be Suspended One Race, According to Deleted Todd Bodine Tweet

We are anxiously awaiting the official word from NASCAR about what — if any — penalty Johnny Sauter will incur following his retaliatory incident with Austin Hill under caution at Iowa Speedway, but that didn’t stop NASCAR on FOX’s Truck Series analyst Todd Bodine for tweeting the supposed penalty before it was officially announced on Tuesday.

In a now deleted Tweet, Bodine said he appluaded NASCAR for making the decision to suspend Sauter for a race, while still leaving him championship eligible.

Bodine has since back tracked on Twitter stating that he was merely speculating the eventual penalty, but there is a very real possibility that this is the actual penalty that will be handed out at some point on Tuesday.
