Inspection following Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been completed.
Rajah Caruth, driver of the No. 71 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports has been named the official winner of the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 at the 1.5-mile facility in Las Vegas, Nevada after his race-winning vehicle made it through post-race inspection without a hitch.
The victory marks the first for Caruth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, in his second full-time season of competition. Additionally, the win is the second this season for Spire Motorsports — after Kyle Busch captured the victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway one week prior.
No issues were found in post-race inspection meaning that all race results and point standings distributed by NASCAR are now deemed official. Tyler Ankrum, Corey Heim, Taylor Gray, and Christopher Bell are officially the race’s top-five finishers. Christian Eckes, Matt Crafton, Zane Smith, Grant Enfinger, and Ty Majeski have since been credited with top-10 finishes.
Ty Majeski, driving the No. 98 Curb Records Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing, had one lugnut improperly secured. While the infraction will not result in a change in the race’s finishing order, it will result in a mid-week monetary fine to crew chief Joe Shear, Jr., which based on prior precedent will amount to $2,500.
