Inspection Complete: Christian Eckes Officially Wins NASCAR Truck Race at Martinsville

Christian Eckes wins Long John Silver's 200 at Martinsville Speedway post-race inspection

After only scoring one win in his first 70 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts, Christian Eckes has really figured out how to win in the series as he scored his sixth win in his last 27 starts Friday night in the Long John Silver’s 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

Following his latest win, Eckes’ No. 19 Adaptive One Calipers McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet Silverado underwent post-race inspection, where it passed with no issues. As a result, NASCAR declared Eckes and his team the official winners of the race.

The win is the second triumph for Eckes this season, the first came at Bristol Motor Speedway a couple of races ago. Overall, Eckes now has seven career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins.

The rest of the field cleared post-race technical inspection with no issues as well, which means all results and standings following the race are now considered official.

Ty Majeski was the official runner-up finisher in the race, and he was followed by Chase Purdy, Nick Sanchez, Tyler Ankrum inside the top-five.

Taylor Gray, Rajah Caruth, Sammy Smith, Kaden Honeycutt, and Corey Heim rounded out the top-10 finishers.
