When the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series heads to World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway this week, there will be a new truck series team in the field. Cram Enterprises will be bringing a No. 41 truck and will compete, according to a statement released by driver Dawson Cram on Instagram.

“I am excited to announce my plans for moving forward in the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series season. Beginning at the NGROTS race at WWT Gateway this weekend, I will be competing in the #41 Chevy Silverado for Cram Enterprises / DKCR. I am honored to have the opportunity for my dad and I to continue my growth in this sport through the establishment of our own NGROTS team. Thank you for all the continued support. I am excited to begin this next chapter in my career,” the statement from Cram read.

Cram, the 18-year old driver from North Carolina, has made nine starts in NGROTS competition since the 2018 season. His best finish to date was a 13th-place effort for Reaume Brothers Racing in 2019 at Martinsville Speedway. Cram has run five races so far this season, four with Long Motorsports. His best finish of the 2020 season was a 14th-place finish with Long Motorsports in the No. 55 truck at Michigan International Speedway.

It’ll be interesting to see how this new team with this young driver can fare right out of the box.
