Daniel Dye to Drive For McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in 2024

Daniel Dye 2024 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season

Despite his current team GMS Racing closing its doors at season’s end, Daniel Dye intends to remain in the No. 43 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entry for the 2024 season. However, Dye will move to the McAnally-Hilgemann Racing team.

The McAnally-Hilgemann Racing team grew to a two full-time truck operation in 2022, and both of its drivers have impressed. Now, the team looks to take the next step in its growth as it expands to three trucks in 2024.

“We are excited to have Daniel join MHR and be part of our continued growth forward,” team owner Bill McAnally said. “We have worked with Daniel in the ARCA Series at Portland where we won the pole and had a great top-five finish. We’re all committed to putting in the efforts and see the same results for our No. 43 team starting in 2024 and beyond.”

The organization made the announcement in the form of a press release on Wednesday afternoon. According to the press release from the team, Dye’s longtime partner Race to Stop Suicide will serve as the primary sponsorship partner for the entry.

Dye is excited to announce his 2024 plans.

“I am excited to finally announce we’ll be racing with McAnally–Hilgemann Racing in 2024,” Dye said. “I’m looking forward to working alongside everyone at MHR and go run up front and compete. I learned so much this year at GMS Racing and looking forward to using that knowledge next season and beyond in my career. I can’t wait to get to Daytona in February and get the new season underway.”

McAnally-Hilgemann Racing will announce additional partners, crew chiefs, an official truck number, and other details for Dye’s 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entry at a later date.
