Christian Rose, who spent the last couple of seasons running full-time in the ARCA Menards Series with AM Racing, will move to Niece Motorsports in 2025 as he will go full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racing. Rose, 29, will pilot the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado for Niece Motorsports during his Sunoco Rookie of the Year campaign.
For Rose, who finished third and fifth in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings respectively over the last two seasons, is excited about the move to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025.
“For me, it’s a huge opportunity to make the jump from the ARCA Series,” said Rose in a team press release. “I got my feet wet a little bit in the Truck Series a few years ago, but I believe in everything that we have going on in this building and am very excited to get to Daytona. The speed that we’ve seen from this team is a big reason why we signed our deal, and I’m just excited to make that transition. I think if we do the right things and show up and put the work in, we can have a lot of great things to look forward to next year.”
Niece Motorsports, which previously announced Matt Mills as the full-time driver of its No. 42 entry, and Kaden Honeycutt as the full-time driver of its No. 45 truck for next season, feels the addition of Rose will round out its driver lineup well for the upcoming season.
“We’re all excited to welcome Christian on with our team next year,” said Cody Efaw, Niece Motorsports CEO. “I think our program has the possibility to have a banner year with the driver and partner lineup that we have. Christian’s drove well in his time running in ARCA, and he will have all the tools he needs to learn from our group of guys. It’s going to be a great year.”
In 48 career starts in the ARCA Menards Series ranks the former Division 1 college baseball pitcher had a career-best finish of third, which he achieved at Salem Speedway in September 2023. Rose competed in two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2023 and recorded a best finish of 16th at Phoenix Raceway driving for AM Racing.
Rose, a native of West Virginia, will look to get his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie of the year campaign kicked off on the right foot in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 14.
