Timmy Hill Running Full-Time for Hill Motorsports in 2022, Team Expanding and Switching to Toyota

Hill Motorsports will undergo some significant changes to the organization ahead of the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season-opener at Daytona in February, announcing on Monday that the family-owned team would field two entries while switching to Toyota.

Timmy Hill – who has driven in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series for MBM Motorsports over the last handful of years — will contest the full 23-race schedule in the No. 56 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

“It’s so rewarding to see this program continue to progress each year and I’m excited to have the pieces in place to take the next step for our organization with a second truck,” Hill said. “I’m really looking forward to competing full-time next year. I certainly think we can surprise some people and hopefully be a regular contender at the front of the field.”

The organization earned their best career-finish at Talladega Superspeedway in October, when Tyler Hill came up short of the victory to Tate Fogleman.

Details regarding the organization’s second entry, including driver lineup, schedule plans, partners, and truck number will be announced at a later date.
