Sam Hunt Racing [No. 26 Toyota Supra] will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the second time this season on Tuesday, May 19th at Darlington Raceway [S.C.]. The No. 26 will be driven by the team’s primary driver Colin Garrett, who made two NASCAR Xfinity Series starts in 2019 at Richmond Raceway & Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Garrett will have a familiar face on top of the pit box Tuesday, as Clinton Cram, Garrett’s 2018 K&N Pro Series crew chief will be on top of the Sam Hunt Racing pit box at Darlington, replacing Brian Keselowski who confirmed via Twitter Monday that he is “officially looking for a new job”.

Cram, who has 161 NASCAR National Series starts as a crew chief, will return to the top of the pit box for the first time since October 2019, when he was the crew chief for J.J. Yeley & RSS Racing at Dover.

Garrett and Sam Hunt Racing attempted to qualify for the season opener at Daytona International Speedway, but failed to make the field of 36 on speed, sending the team home prematurely.

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of events at Atlanta Motor Speedway & Homestead-Miami Speedway, the team was forced to temporarily suspend operations until a timeline from government officials and NASCAR was released.

You can watch the No. 26 of Colin Garrett & Sam Hunt Racing take to the track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Darlington Raceway (S.C.) on Tuesday, May 19th @ 8:00PM/EST on FS1.
