The No. 47 Camaro of Mike Harmon Racing’s Kyle Weatherman will feature a bold look when the team arrives in New York later this weekend.
Runnings, a 56-store chain of indoor and outdoor essentials, will serve as the primary sponsor of Weatherman’s entry at The Glen on Saturday.
“We are excited to partner with Runnings for the race at the Glen,” said Ray Page, Director of Marketing for Wolfpack Racing USA, “what better way to celebrate the company’s continued growth and expansion since 1947 than to ride along on the Mark Harmon Racing #47!” Since opening 74-years-ago, Runnings has grown from its early days as an automotive supply and farm store to a large general merchandise retailer selling an extensive selection of quality merchandise to customers who live and love the outdoor lifestyle. “We cannot wait to see Kyle and the #47 car on the track,” said Dennis Jensen, Runnings Director of Marketing, “what an incredible way to introduce our retail stores and brand to fans watching exciting NASCAR Xfinity race action.”

The bold design came from the creative mind of Ryan Daley, who has been behind a number of designs for Mike Harmon’s operation.
“I’m r happy to be able to release our 12th different #47 car of 2021 with new partner Runnings,” Daley told TobyChristie.com. “Working with red and white is always a favorite of mine and I think we’ve got another great looking car on track again this weekend! We aren’t technically supposed to run anything other than Series logos in the space in front of the number, so I decided to make the Runnings R a part of the scheme and place it really large in that area to get away with it a bit. I really like how it broke everything up. ”
Opening their first store in 1947 in Marshall, Minnesota, the chain has become a one-stop-shop for footwear, automotive supplies, farming equipment, and more.
The Wentzville, Missouri, driver is in the midst of his third season with MHR, his second in a more consistent capacity. Weatherman has three top 20s for MHR this season, coming at both the Daytona superspeedway and road course, as well as Loudon.
Fans can see the No. 47 Camaro hit the track on Saturday, August 7th at 4:00 p.m. EST on CNBC.
