Aaron Bearden at Motorsports Beat does an incredible job of many things, and one of those things is updating us on Playoff Points in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Bearden has posted a full run-down of the Playoff points that drivers have scored so far with four races left in the 2019 regular season.

The eye-opening thing about the list this week? Chase Elliott — by winning both Stages and the race on Sunday — doubled his yearly total from seven Playoff points, to 14.

That is an impressive leap in one weekend.
