Final Stage of Xfinity Championship Race to Be Shown Commercial-Free

Xfinity, a long-time partner of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), is thanking the fans of the sport in a remarkable way before the company departs as the entitlement sponsor of the beloved second-tier series — currently known as the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The brand will be partnering with both NASCAR and The CW Sports to ensure that the entire final stage of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, set to take place on Saturday, November 1, runs without a single commercial break.

From the moment that the green flag is displayed to begin the final stage of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign, until the checkered flag is waved and the Xfinity Series champion for this season has been decided, The CW Sports will not have a single ad break — double-box or full-screen.

Xfinity has served as the title sponsor of NASCAR’s second-tier division for the last decade, originally taking over the role from long-time series sponsor Nationwide Insurance at the beginning of the 2015 NASCAR campaign. When the checkered flag is displayed at Phoenix, the series will have run 330 events with the brand as its entitlement sponsor, and (so far) has produced 56 different race-winners.

In February, Comcast and NASCAR announced that their partnership would continue for several years down the road, but the Xfinity brand’s title sponsorship of the second-tier series would end after a one-year extension.

Xfinity is expected to continue its role as Premier Partner of NASCAR, which also includes a designation as the ‘Official Cable Service Provider’ of NASCAR. The brand also sponsors the ‘Xfinity Fastest Lap Award’, new for the 2025 season, which awards a championship point to the driver who records the fastest lap in each NASCAR National Series event.

On August 18, NASCAR and O’Reilly Auto Parts announced a partnership that would see the infamous brand take over title sponsorship rights of the second-tier series, which, beginning in 2026, will be known as the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.

The final stage of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, set to take place on November 1, will be 127 laps in length, and all run commercial-free. Coverage of the event will take place Saturday, November 1 at 7:30 PM ET on The CW, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
