Brad Perez, a native of Hollywood, Florida, will be looking for some home-cooking this weekend as he embarks upon a start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at his home track, Homestead-Miami Speedway. Perez, 27, will, be behind the wheel of the No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro for SS-GreenLight Racing, a car that has featured a rotating cast of drivers throughout the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

The up-and-coming racer will have primary sponsorship from Space Beans Coffee, which is a brand of coffee from longtime partner Apex Roasters. Perez shared the paint scheme for his No. 07 Chevrolet in a social media post on Monday.

The car will feature a blue night sky with stars sprinkled throughout the car as the base of the design. Cutting through the night sky are yellow and orange flames.

Typically a road race ace, Perez made his NASCAR Xfinity Series oval debut at Kansas Speedway a few weeks ago, driving the No. 45 Chevrolet Camaro for Alpha Prime Racing. Perez came home 37th in the 38-car field in that event after an oil pump went awry after he completed 61 laps in that event.

In four NASCAR Xfinity Series starts this season, Perez has a best finish of 18th, which he achieved at Circuit of the Americas driving the No. 45 Alpha Prime Racing entry in March.

Perez has made a total of 11 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts since the 2022 season with a variety of race teams including Emerling-Gase Motorsports (now Joey Gase Motorsports), Alpha Prime, and SS-GreenLight Racing.

The driver also made five NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts from 2022 to 2023, where he had a best finish of 20th also at Circuit of the Americas in 2022.
