Noah Gragson’s 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship campaign is officially fully funded, as JR Motorsports, Bass Pro Shops, True Timber and Black Rifle Coffee announced that the three companies will adorn the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for all 33 NXS races next season.
“We think the world of Noah and his passion for racing, which is why we’re excited to keep the momentum going in 2021,” said Bass Pro Shops Founder Johnny Morris in a team release. “We’re also happy to continue alongside our friends at TrueTimber and Black Rifle Coffee, and very grateful and proud to keep rolling with Dale Jr., Kelley and the JR Motorsports team next year.”
The trio of companies were the sponsors for Gragson, who hails from Las Vegas, in 21 of the 33 events in 2020, so this new deal is an expansion of their deal from 2020. And there’s good reason as to why the deal has expanded, as Gragson won two races in 2020 and finished the season fifth in the NXS championship standings.
The 22-year old, who finished the year strong with six top-three finishes over the final 10 races, will look to capture his first NASCAR National Series championship in 2021.
After teasing the NASCAR world on Twitter about his 2021 plans three months ago with a simple pen emoji tweet, Gragson revealed that he would return to JR Motorsports for the 2021 season.
