Miguel Paludo will return to JR Motorsports to run three road races in 2022.

Miguel Paludo and JR Motorsports had so much fun together in 2021, that they have decided to renew their partnership for three NASCAR Xfinity Series races for the 2022 season.

“We are back for 2022!” said Paludo in a team press release. “Last year proved to me that JRM has the best team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and I can’t wait to get back to the track with this group, especially now that we will have the opportunity to practice and qualify this season. I am very excited to again represent BRANDT and Brazilian agriculture on three of America’s most exciting tracks.”

The 38-year old Brazillian will pilot the No. 88 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet Camaro for the team at Circuit of the Americas (March 26th), Road America (July 2nd) and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course (July 30th).

In three starts this past season with JR Motorsports, Paludo scored a best finish of seventh, which came at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course.

With qualifying and practice returning to the series for 2022, Paludo should have an even larger chance of showing off his skills this season. Paludo, a former full-time competitor in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, is a road ace as he has taken seven championships — including this year — in the Porsche Carrera Cup.
