Well, Kyle Busch may have been an afterthought in Stage 1 of Saturday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway after dropping to the rear and serving a pass-through penalty on the start of the race due to his truck failing inspection, but he dominated Stage 2.

Busch opted to not pit during the caution period between Stages 1 and 2, which gave him the track position he needed in Stage 2.

Busch would lead 22 of the 30 laps in Stage 2 to take the Stage 2 win.

Ross Chastain, who won Stage 1, finished runner-up in Stage 2.

Austin Hill, Christian Eckes and Todd Gilliland rounded out the top-five in the Stage.

Ben Rhodes was sixth, while Chase Elliott rebounded from a late Stage 1 spin to finish seventh in Stage 2.

Derek Kraus, Grant Enfinger and Raphael Lessard capped off the top-10 finishers in the second Stage.

Matt Crafton, who had a solid top-five to top-10 run going, slapped the wall in the Stage and ended Stage 2 31st, two laps off the pace.
