Kyle Busch is looking for retribution after a victory in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series My Bariatric Solutions 300 at Texas Motor Speedway was stripped away when his car failed post-race inspection. Busch, driving his own No. 51 Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors event at TMS won Stage 1 on Saturday evening.

Busch got around rookie Zane Smith in the closing laps of the Stage to cruise to the Stage Win.

Tyler Ankrum was third in Stage 1 and he was followed by Ben Rhodes and Brett Moffitt in fourth and fifth.

Christian Eckes, Todd Gilliland, Matt Crafton, Justin Haley and Grant Enfinger rounded out the top-10 in the Stage.

Polesitter Sheldon Creed led the opening seven laps of the race, but a sliced tire forced Creed into an unscheduled pit stop. Luckily, Creed was able to keep his No. 2 Silverado out of the wall. Creed sits 30th, two laps off the pace after Stage 1.
