January 15, 2022. Remember that date. That’s the date that Kaylee Bryson made history in the Chili Bowl Nationals, becoming the first woman to advance into the 55-lap A-Feature.
The Keith Kunz Motorsports driver started the B-Feature in tenth, but was able to use the outside lane to advance her way through the field, grabbing the lead before the halfway point of the event.
Blake Hahn finished in the runner-up spot, with CJ Leary, Shane Golobic, Corey Day, Dillon Welch, and Jonathan Beason rounding out the top-seven, and the drivers to advance into Saturday night’s main event.
Bryson becomes the fifth Keith Kunz Motorsports driver to advance to the A-Feature, joining Christopher Bell, Rico Abreu, Tanner Carrick, and Michael Kofoid.
