*Note an earlier revision of this article stated that Haley would be running car No. 16 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020, that is incorrect. He will return again to the No. 11 in the NXS.

Kaulig Racing will be making their debut in the NASCAR Cup Series this February at Daytona International Speedway as the team will attempt to make the field for the Daytona 500 with Justin Haley as their driver.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles will serve as the sponsor of their No. 16 machine. Team owner Matt Kaulig is pumped at a shot at competing in the Daytona 500.

”I am super excited to attempt not only our first NASCAR Cup Series race, but our first Daytona 500!” exclaimed Kaulig. “To be competing at the World Center of Racing on the main stage is incredible, especially for our team that began just four years ago. I have all the confidence in the world that Justin Haley will make everyone at Kaulig Racing proud and truly let everyone know that Kaulig Racing is here to compete.”

Haley won last July’s rain-shortened Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona in Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 car for his first-career Cup Series victory. Haley ran the full schedule for Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series a season ago and scored four top-five finishes and 20 top-10s en route to a 12th-place finish in the point standings. Haley is ready to battle for his first Daytona 500 appearance.

“I am eager to try and qualify for the Daytona 500,” said Haley. “It is an honor for me to compete for a starting spot in Kaulig Racing’s first NASCAR Cup Series race. The F.O.E. has been with me since 2016. The Eagles were on my car when I won in July at Daytona, so it’s a great fit for them to be back on my car as we try to lock ourselves into the Daytona 500.”

Haley is slated to also compete with the team again for the full 2020 season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series driving car No. 11.
