Joey Logano Holds off Kurt Busch at Michigan For Second Win of 2019

Joey Logano was absolutely dominant Monday in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. The driver of the No. 22 Team Penske Ford Mustang led an impressive 163 laps of the 203 that were contested and on an overtime finish he held off a hard charging Kurt Busch for his second win of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.

Kurt Busch, as mentioned, came home second. Martin Truex Jr. ended up third, Daniel Suarez was fourth, and Kyle Busch was fifth.

Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, Ryan Blaney and Alex Bowman rounded out the top-10 finishers on the day.

Logano won Stage 1, but in Stage 2 he was a little short on fuel so he was unable to capitalize on even more Playoff points as Austin Dillon took Stage 2.
