UPDATE 4:25 PM ET Feb. 11, 2020: According to a report from NBC Sports’ Bruce Martin, Jimmie Johnson was at the NTT IndyCar Open Test in Austin, Texas on Tuesday as the guest of Arrow McLaren SP’s Zak Brown.
The report includes quotes from Johnson, which will air on an episode of NASCAR America, but it appears that Johnson is readying for some NTT IndyCar Series starts in 2021, when his full-time NASCAR Cup Series career is over.

Jimmie Johnson has been open over the past year that he would like to try driving in the NTT IndyCar Series at road courses when his NASCAR career is over. Could his eventual first IndyCar start come at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas someday?
The IndyCar Series is in Austin on Tuesday to conduct an open test for their teams as the head into the 2020 season, and guess who has been spotted on the grounds?
