Don’t look now, but we could be seeing a return to form for seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson. The driver of the No. 48, got around Joey Logano with 59 laps left in Stage 2 of Wednesday’s Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway.

Johnson wouldn’t look back as he snagged his first Stage win of 2020, and the third of his impressive career.

Ryan Blaney, who started from the pole, then went a lap down, has recovered and got around his teammate Logano to finish second in Stage 2.

Logano was third, Alex Bowman was fourth and Kevin Harvick capped of the top-five finishers in Stage 2.

Bubba Wallace has been super impressive after fainting several times following last Sunday’s event in Atlanta, Wallace finished sixth in Stage 2 at Martinsville.

William Byron, Chase Elliott, Kurt Busch and rookie Tyler Reddick rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 2.
