Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been completed.

Kyle Larson’s race-winning No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Larson the official winner of the race.

This marks Larson’s seventh-career NASCAR Cup Series victory and his first since 2019 at Dover. Larson has finished inside the top-10 in three of the four races this season, and has shown himself to be a formidable championship contender in four starts with Hendrick Motorsports.

Cole Custer’s No. 41 car had two unsecured lug nuts. This will most likely result in a one-race suspension for Custer’s crew chief.

Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 car, Martin Truex Jr.’s No. 19 car, Chris Buescher’s No. 17 car, Kyle Busch’s No. 18 car and Matt DiBenedetto’s No. 21 car all had one unsecured lug nut, which will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection which means that all results and standings for the 2021 Pennzoil 400 are now considered official.
