Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been completed.

Denny Hamlin’s race-winning No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Hamlin and his team the official winners of the race.

This marks Hamlin’s 46th-career NASCAR Cup Series win and it’s his second win of the 2021 season. This victory advances Hamlin from the Round of 12 of the 2021 NCS Playoffs into the Round of 8.

Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 car had two unsecured lug nuts, which will result in a one race suspension for his crew chief Rodney Childers, as well as a monetary fine.

Kyle Larson’s No. 5 car, Kyle Busch’s No. 18 car, Ross Chastain’s No. 42 car and Daniel Suarez’s No. 99 car each had one unsecure lug nut. That will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

No other issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.
