Post-race technical inspection following Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Pit Boss 250 at Circuit of the Americas has been completed.
AJ Allmendinger’s race-winning No. 16 Nutrien Ag Solutions Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Allmendinger and his team the official winners of the race.
This is Allmendinger’s first NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the 2022 season and it’s his 11th win of his NXS career. Additionally, this win marks Allmendinger’s ninth road course win in NASCAR National Series competition, which ties Jeff Gordon’s all-time mark, although all nine of Gordon’s wins came in the NASCAR Cup Series.
With his victory in Saturday's Xfinity Series event at COTA, @AJDinger records his ninth road course victory across NASCAR's top-three series, tying him for the most all-time with @JeffGordonWeb.#NASCAR | #SrigleyStats Built by @FiveStarBodies pic.twitter.com/vSW4B416SX
