Restaurant chain Hooters will continue their relationship with reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports in 2021, with a fan-favorite design.

“Night Owl” will make its return during the upcoming season.

This marks the fifth year of partnership between Elliott and Hooters, dating back to the 2017 Cup Series season.

Hooters will take the Darlington Throwback race in May, the Indy Road Course in August, as well as the Bristol Night Race in September.

The design was created by Brendan Droppo in 2019, who has worked with many partners at Hendrick Motorsports from Lowes, to Nationwide, and NAPA. The scheme was voted on by fans in to be used in 2020 and beyond. The design draws inspiration from the black uniforms that Hooters waitresses wear on Fridays, compared to the infamous white shirts.

Additionally, Hooters confirmed on Sunday that the “When Chase Wins, You Win” promotion will return for the 2021 season. The promotion gives restaurant-goers ten free boneless wings with a purchase of ten the Monday after Elliott wins a Cup Series race.

Hooters enjoyed three races with the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Champion as a primary sponsor, scoring two-second place finishes at both Homestead and the Daytona night race. Elliott drove the annual Pink “Give A Hoot” design for Hooters to a 20th place finish at Texas towards the end of the 2020 season.

Elliott’s 2021 palette of sponsors is a mix of returning and new additions to the team. Adrenaline Shoc will join him for two races in 2021 while Llumar will move over from the No. 88 of Alex Bowman to the No. 9 of Elliott for two races through the 2023 season.

Elliott’s title defense will begin at the 2021 Daytona 500 on February 14th at 2:30 PM EST on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
