With just a handful of laps remaining at Texas in Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250, Harrison Burton’s effort to defend his October win fell apart after a spin in turn two.
Burton was racing in the PJ1 traction compound when he got loose and spun into the outside retaining wall on lap 164.

Just before the spin, Burton was complaining of a loose car, and potentially a tire going down according to FOX Sports’ Jamie Little.
Thanks to the extensive damage, the Huntersville, North Carolina driver recorded his second straight DNF and his third overall in 2021.
