Chase Elliott, the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion and sport’s Most Popular Driver, will have a new look on his No. 9 car for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season as his familiar NAPA Auto Parts scheme will receive a fresh vibe.

The scheme shifts the No. 9 to the new location on the side of the NASCAR Next Gen race car, while next to the car number is a big-bold NAPA logo. Over the rear wheels, the car spells out Auto Parts.
A yellow chevron pattern of sorts drapes around the front edge of the NAPA logo. The car has a two-tone split, as the top of the car is NAPA blue, while the bottom of the car features white. Both colors are split apart by the familiar NAPA yellow.
Overall, this paint scheme is slick and it’s a nice step forward for a car that had appeared very close to the same, with minor changes for a few years.
