William Byron’s 2024 Axalta and Raptor Tough Paint Schemes Unveiled

On Monday evening, Hendrick Motorsports pulled back the veil on a pair of 2024 NASCAR Cup Series paint schemes for William Byron and the No. 24 team.

The Hendrick team shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, of Byron and other team members assembling photos of the paint schemes, which were featured in puzzles.

Axalta and RaptorTough, long-time partners of the No. 24 team, will return for another year on the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and both brands will bring a renewed look on the No. 24 car for various events in 2024.

The Raptor Tough paint scheme takes a neon green/yellow base color, which gradients to white on the sides of the car. There are some black accents throughout the scheme, which appear to be animal claw markings. Overall, it’s a sharp look.

It may become even sharper depending on how much the green/yellow pops in person.

The iconic flames return to the Axalta paint scheme for the first time in a few years. The Axalta car will carry a white base coat with red flames and neon yellow numbers. The Axalta logo on the sides of the car will be contained in a black box design.

Byron, 26, had a breakout season in 2023. The driver scored a career-high six wins in his sixth NASCAR Cup Series season, and he parlayed the victories into his first-career Championship 4 appearance.

The driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports machine ended the 2023 campaign third in the championship standings. He’ll look to score his first NASCAR Cup Series title in 2024, and he’ll do so with two new paint schemes through various races in the season.
