Video: Watch Joe Gibbs Racing Wrap Martin Truex Jr.’s Special 500th Start Scheme

Martin Truex Jr. will be making his 500th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start this weekend at Michigan International Speedway. It seems like just yesterday that Truex was a fresh-faced youngster trying to climb the NASCAR ladder. Now, he’s a Cup Series champion who will have half-a-thousand starts under his belt. Crazy.

Truex will be running an Auto Owners Insurance paint — err wrap — scheme this weekend, but it won’t be the usual blue scheme that we’ve become accustom to. Truex, instead, will drive a special all black car with special 500th start logos on it.

It’s a pretty cool scheme, and it’s even more cool when you watch the team wrap the car. Thanks to Joe Gibbs Racing and their social media team, we can watch them do just that:
