Video: Ryan Newman Suffers Cut Tire, Smacks Wall to End Stage 3 of Coca-Cola 600

Horrible luck for Ryan Newman, who was running in 12th-position near the end of Stage 3 in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600. As Newman was working on passing Joey Logano for 11th, a tire let go on the No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, which sent Newman hard into the wall.

Newman will enter the final stage of the race three laps down in 29th.

The 43-year old had a solid three-race stretch between Talladega and Darlington, as he had an average finish of 13th during that span. However, he has failed to finish inside the top-20 in every race since. That streak will continue in the Coca-Cola 600.
