There are 37 drivers on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway, the seventh event on the 36-race schedule for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series.

With the maximum field size set at 40 entries for all NASCAR Cup Series events in 2026, there will be no drivers packing up and heading home before the dropping of the green flag on Sunday afternoon. The field will be comprised of 36 Chartered Entries and one Open Entry.

The most-recent winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, Tyler Reddick (who scored his fourth victory of the 2026 campaign last weekend at Darlington Raceway), will continue his full-time bid for a championship driving the No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing. SiriusXM will serve as the primary sponsor of the entry at Martinsville.

Aside from the 36 drivers and teams that are contractually obligated to enter every single NASCAR Cup Series event in 2026 (due to the newly-signed Charter Agreement), only Austin Hill and Richard Childress Racing are entered in the Cook Out 400. Hill will make his second NASCAR Cup Series start of the season, driving the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

After starting the week listed on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington, Hendrick Motorsports announced last week that the full-time driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro would be sitting out at least through the event at Kansas Speedway. Justin Allgaier, former champion of the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, is scheduled to drive the entry at Darlington, Martinsville, and Bristol.
