Video: Ryan Blaney Takes Massive Impact; Big Crash Erupts in Duel 2

What a hit. The defending NASCAR Cup Series champion, Ryan Blaney went for a wild ride in Bluegreen Vacations Duel No. 2 Thursday night at Daytona International Speedway.

On Lap 46, William Byron and Blaney made contact a couple of times, the last contact was triggered when Byron slowed up in front of Kyle Busch. Busch couldn’t get slowed in time, and made contact with Byron, which sent Byron skidding into the right rear of Blaney’s No. 12 Ford Mustang.

Blaney shot dead right into the outside wall very hard, and his car caught on fire. Here is video of the wild crash:

Thankfully, Blaney was able to climb from his car after the vicious hit.

In all, there were 10 cars involved in the crash. Joining Blaney, Byron, and Busch were Chase Briscoe, Brad Keselowski, BJ McLeod, Bubba Wallace, Noah Gragson, Justin Haley, and Riley Herbst.
