Holy moly, 2020 has been a disaster for 2019 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. He was still winless coming into Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, but there was a bit of optimism as he drew the pole in the starting lineup random draw.

However, after leading the first nine laps, Busch sank like a rock.

His car was mishandling, and then, he reported that he believed he had a broken shock. Just a few laps later, Busch made one of the most miraculous saves you’ll ever see.

The No. 18 car snapped sideways, Busch barely tapped the wall, but saved his race car.

Right after the incident, Busch cued the radio and said, “The car is broken!”

His losing streak in 2020 will extend to 17 races, but at least he didn’t wad up his No. 18 car during this incident.
