Video: Denny Hamlin Goes For a Spin Entering Pit Road With Under 30 to Go in Duel

Denny Hamlin, a three-time winner of the Daytona 500, had a disastrous entry to pit lane on a green flag pit sequence with 27 laps to go in the Bluegreen Vacation Duel No. 2 Thursday at Daytona International Speedway.

Hamlin locked up the brakes on his No. 11 FedEx Toyota Camry, which sent him skidding into the grass. Hamlin then went around when accelerating in the grass.

Hamlin, who was running near the front before the issue, dropped a lap off the pace after losing the draft due to lost time on pit road.
