Tim Fedewa to Spot for Ryan Blaney, Team Penske No. 12 in 2024

Tim Fedewa, who has spent the last decade serving as spotter for Kevin Harvick at Stewart-Haas Racing, will undergo a change of scenery beginning next season, as he partners with Team Penske and reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney.

The organization confirmed the addition of Fedewa as the new spotter of the No. 12 Ford Mustang to Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports on Monday.

Earlier in the afternoon on Monday, Josh Williams, who spent nine seasons spotting for Team Penske in the NASCAR Cup Series, announced that he wouldn’t be returning to the organization in 2024, after winning the championship earlier this month at Phoenix.

Confirmation of Fedewa’s move to Team Penske for 2024 is the latest in a series of domino-like movements in the spotter market for the upcoming season, which has already seen three spotters move from major organizations (Eddie D’Hondt/Hendrick, Josh Williams/Penske, Tim Fedewa/Stewart-Haas).

Both Eddie D’Hondt and Josh Williams have yet to announce their plans for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. But now, Stewart-Haas Racing will be looking for a brand-new spotter for the No. 4 Ford Mustang, which will be driven by Josh Berry starting next year.
