Parker Kligerman was trending toward a successful race on Friday afternoon at Naval Base Coronado. The driver started from the 10th position in his No. 75 Henderson Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, and he led twice for six laps on his path to winning Stage 2 in the Navy 250.
However, in the end, Kligerman was left seething with an 18th-place result and an abused race truck. After the race was over, Kligerman sought out Adam Andretti, a Trans Am regular, who was driving the No. 5 TRICON Garage Toyota in the race.

On pit road after the race, the two got into a heated argument about their on-track excursion, which resulted in massive damage to Kligerman’s No. 75 truck. After the heated war of words between the two, Kligerman said that he wasn’t even aware that Andretti was part of the famed Andretti racing family, and upon learning that, this Andretti was a disgrace to his famous last name.

“When you’ve got guys like that, Andretti guy, who tried to kill me three times. And I felt he did a disgrace to that last name. I didn’t even know he was an Andretti, but he’s a disgrace to that name,” Kligerman said in a post-race interview. “And I just, I don’t know. There’s just wrecking for 28th for no reason. Now, we have a destroyed truck because that idiot wanted to try and kill me for a mistake he made himself.”
Kligerman concluded, “And it’s just like, that’s the sort of thing where it’s just rich kids, paying to go run around and they have no respect.”
Andretti, who was heard saying to Kligerman that he was lucky that the damage to Kligerman’s truck was all he did to him, would finish the race in the 14th position.
