StarCom Racing, and NASCAR Cup Series rookie Quin Houff will bring a special paint scheme to Richmond Raceway  in celebration of Trucker Appreciation Week.

The No. 00 Camaro will be wrapped in a special Trucker Appreciation design with “Thank You Truckers” adorning the hood and sides of the car. Lynchburg Ready Mix will also join the effort for Houff.

“We applaud StarCom Racing and driver Quin Houff for the special “Thank You Truckers” paint scheme they are running in the Federated Auto Parts 400 this weekend at Richmond Raceway,” said Dale Bennett, President & CEO of the Virginia Trucking Association in a press release. “As part of one of Virginia’s oldest trucking families, Quin understands how hard our professional truck drivers have worked on the frontline to keep Virginia and the nation supplied with the goods we need during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The paint scheme was designed by Ryan Daley, who has been responsible for a majority of the StarCom Racing Camaros on track over the past few seasons.

“Since SCR is honoring Trucker Appreciation Week (Sept 13-19) I really wanted to give the car a classic semi look, with a lot of bold lines that follow the body work,” Daley said. “It turned out pretty classy looking and I’m really excited to see how this looks under the lights at Richmond!”

The NASCAR Cup Series will visit Richmond on Saturday, September 12th for the second race of the NASCAR Playoffs.
