One of the brightest and most uniquely designed cars from the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season is back for 2023 as RAZE Energy and Spire Motorsports have continued their partnership for another season.

The energy drink brand will shift from the team’s No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 to the No. 77 machine and its driver Ty Dillon.

According to a press release from Spire Motorsports, the renewed partnership with RAZE will result in a six-race partnership for Dillon and the No. 77 team beginning with the June 25th Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Dillon will carry a paint scheme showcasing the RAZE Tea offerings in three events, and it will carry the RAZE Energy Shots offerings in the other three races.

“We are looking forward to partnering with Spire Motorsports again in 2023 to launch our new RAZE Tea and RAZE Energy Shot products,” said RAZE Energy CEO Chris Wagner. “The relationship with Spire has been beneficial as we continue to scale RAZE products at retail and we are eager to see the consumer response to these new product lines. Jeff and TJ (Spire Motorsports co-owners) are like family to me and we are excited to start the season in Nashville.”

RAZE Tea is available in four varieties including Green Tea, Half and Half Lemonade, White Peach and Sweet Tea. The RAZE Tea scheme will be piloted by Dillon at Nashville as well as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course on August 13th and at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on October 8th.

RAZE Energy Shots come in a variety of flavors as well including Focus, Beauty Buzz, Relax, Immunity and Energy. The Energy Shots will be featured on the No. 77 car at Atlanta Motor Speedway on July 9th, Darlington Raceway on September 3rd and Homestead-Miami Speedway on October 22nd.

Ty Dillon 2023 RAZE Energy Primary Sponsorship Schedule

  • June 25: Nashville Superspeedway (RAZE Tea)
  • July 9: Atlanta Motor Speedway (RAZE Energy Shots)
  • August 13: Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course (RAZE Tea)
  • September 3: Darlington Raceway (RAZE Energy Shots)
  • October 8: Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL (RAZE Tea)
  • October 22: Homestead-Miami Speedway (RAZE Energy Shots)

RAZE Energy served as the primary sponsor for Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 entry in four races during the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, and the brand had a best finish of 12th at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL.

The Energy drink brand nearly visited victory lane though, as LaJoie carried the colors at Atlanta Motor Speedway last July in an event, where he battled for the win with Chase Elliott in the closing laps. Ultimately, the race ended in a crash and 21st-place finish for LaJoie, but the RAZE car led the field for 19 laps and was a true threat to win.

Spire Motorsports is ready to make some more moments on track with RAZE.

“Everyone at Spire Motorsports is looking forward to welcoming RAZE Energy back for another season and introduce NASCAR fans to RAZE Tea and RAZE Energy Shots,” said Dillon in the release. “The team at RAZE had done a great job with the paint schemes and the car is going to look incredible on some of my favorite tracks. Our No. 77 team is gaining on it and getting a little better every week, so we’ll keep working hard and hopefully turn in some solid finishes.”
