Due to the forecast calling for inclement weather for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway, NASCAR has announced that the start of the race will be moved up an hour from the originally scheduled time.

The green flag for Sunday’s race is set for approximately 1:11 PM ET, while television coverage of the race will move from 2:00 PM ET to 1:00 PM ET.

FS1 will remain the network for the television coverage of Sunday’s race, and PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will still provide the radio broadcast of the event as well.

With the start of Sunday’s race being moved up, FS1’s NASCAR RaceDay — the pre-race show for the NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 — will also shift to 12:00 PM ET.

The grandstand gates at Dover Motor Speedway will open to spectators at 10:00 AM ET, and the NASCAR Cup Series garage area is also scheduled to open at that time.

According to weather forecasts, Mother Nature is set to be a thorn in our sides all weekend long, as the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, and ARCA Menards Series East attempt to contest races on the 1-mile concrete oval in Delaware.
